Matthew Wells

Matthew Wells has a diverse work experience. Matthew started their career as an Intern in the Marketing and Business Development department at Dentons in 2016. In 2017, they served as an Intern in the Public Integrity Unit of the Investigations Department at the Kings County District Attorney's Office. In 2019, Matthew undertook internships at both the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission and the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, where they gained experience in the divisions of enforcement. Matthew then joined AIG in 2020 as a Summer Associate in the Global Legal, Compliance & Regulatory Department. Matthew's legal career continued to grow at Cooley LLP, where they worked as a Corporate Associate Attorney from October 2021 to September 2022. Following this, they joined Honigman LLP as a Corporate Associate Attorney from September 2022 to January 2023. Currently, Matthew is a Software Engineer I at Moosejaw Mountaineering starting from May 2023.

Matthew Wells attended the University of Michigan from 2014 to 2018, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree. Matthew majored in Philosophy and Cognitive Science and minored in Business. After completing their undergraduate studies, Matthew enrolled at Georgetown University Law Center in 2018 and is expected to graduate in 2021 with a Juris Doctor degree. In 2023, they attended Tech Elevator for a Java Web Application Development Bootcamp.
