Adam Shannon

Adam Shannon is a Founding Engineer at Moov since September 2018, serving as the Tech Lead on the payment rails processing team, handling tens of billions of dollars in volume. Key contributions include developing Automated Clearing House (ACH) and Real Time Payments (RTP) services using Go, as well as creating and maintaining open-source libraries for ISO 20022 compliance. Previously, Adam served as a Senior Software and Infrastructure Engineer at Jack Henry & Associates from November 2011 to July 2018, where responsibilities included writing and supporting banking applications and managing deployment and monitoring platforms. Adam began the professional journey at Jack Henry as a Software Intern while completing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Northern Iowa, which was earned in 2014. Proficient in technologies such as Scala, Java, PostgreSQL, Redis, MongoDB, Terraform, and Kafka.
