Andrea Schiefelbein has a diverse work experience. Andrea started their career at Epic in 2009 as a Project Manager and worked there until September 2016. In 2018, they joined both the Morgridge Institute for Research and the University of Wisconsin-Madison as a Lab Manager and Research Specialist. Currently, they are also serving as the Assistant Director of Lab Operations in both organizations.
Andrea Schiefelbein completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Physics & Mathematics at Luther College from 2005 to 2009. Andrea then pursued further education and obtained a Masters of Science in Public Health (MSPH) degree in Health Services Management from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, University of London, from 2016 to 2019.

The Morgridge Institute for Research is a nonprofit biomedical institute exploring uncharted scientific territory to discover tomorrow’s cures. Morgridge works to improve human health through innovative, interdisciplinary biomedical discoveries, spark scientific curiosity and serve society through translational outcomes, in partnership with the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Research areas include regenerative biology and bioinformatics, virology, medical engineering, metabolism, core computational technology and bioethics.
