Mike Collins is an experienced Systems Administrator and Bioinformatics Developer at the Morgridge Institute for Research, where responsibilities include architecting and supporting high-performance computing and storage infrastructure for RNA sequencing data analyses since July 2008. The Morgridge Institute for Research is a nonprofit biomedical institute exploring uncharted scientific territory to discover tomorrow’s cures. Morgridge works to improve human health through innovative, interdisciplinary biomedical discoveries, spark scientific curiosity and serve society through translational outcomes, in partnership with the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Research areas include regenerative biology and bioinformatics, virology, medical engineering, metabolism, core computational technology and bioethics.
