Nancy Essex

Nancy Essex, an accomplished design leader, currently serves as Design Director for Brand Systems and Morningstar Wealth at Morningstar since August 2022. With prior experience at the American Medical Association as Director of Brand Design for the JAMA Network from January 2016 to July 2022, Nancy also held the position of Director of Strategy at Palantir.net, where strategic and creative direction was provided for diverse web projects. As Co-leader for Move It! Collaborative and Design Director at Essex Two, Nancy specialized in integrated communication and branding. Additionally, Nancy co-founded Pretty Bird Wearable Juju, focusing on personal growth products, and worked as a Senior Designer at Burson-Marsteller. Nancy holds a BS in Visual Communication from Illinois State University.
