Gayatri Desai is a seasoned architecture professional currently serving as Design Technology Director and Computational BIM Manager at Ennead Architects LLP since March 2021, while also contributing as an Adjunct Professor in Digital Design at New Jersey Institute of Technology since January 2023. Desai has held various positions including Architectural Designer at Morris Adjmi Architects and Intermediate Architect at Davis Brody Bond. Educational qualifications include a Master of Architecture in Advanced Architecture from the Institute for Advanced Architecture of Catalonia, along with dual MArch degrees from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya and The Cooper Union, where a focus on Arduino for Artists and Makers was completed. Desai’s early academic achievements include a BArch from New Jersey Institute of Technology, complemented by a minor in Environmental Engineering.

Morris Adjmi established MA in New York City in 1997 following a 13-year, collaboration with Pritzker Prize-winning architect, Aldo Rossi. On that strong foundation, he built a practice inspired by the arts and by new technologies as well as history and tradition. Today, with projects under construction around the country, the firm is recognized for its thoughtful engagement with context, creative use of materials, and sophisticated designs.
