Kirk Michealson

Kirk Michealson has an extensive background in operations research and analysis, with a career spanning several prominent organizations and academic institutions. Currently serving as a Retired Consultant, Adjunct Professor, and Volunteer at Tackle Solutions LLC since June 2024, Kirk has also held the position of Past President and Fellow at the Military Operations Research Society since 2010. A former Adjunct Associate Professor at the University of Arkansas, Kirk contributed to the Masters of Science for Operations Management program from 2015 to 2023. Prior roles include leadership positions at Lockheed Martin Corporation, where contributions to operations analysis and workforce development were significant, and the United States Navy, where vital models for crisis response were developed. Educational credentials include a Master of Science in Operations Research from the Naval Postgraduate School and a Bachelor of Science in Operations Analysis from the United States Naval Academy.
