Mark Woodward

Mark is a partner in our State and Local Tax practice, and has performed tax consulting services since 1997. He serves clients in a wide range of industries and consults on topics such as multistate income and franchise taxes, capital taxes, business activity taxes, sales and use taxes, employment taxes, transfer taxes, and unclaimed property. Prior to joining Moss Adams, Mark was a tax director with a Big Four firm in New York and Los Angeles. Prior to that, Mark was a state and local tax manager with a Big Six firm.

Mark advises clients on the multistate tax implications of mergers, acquisitions, and restructurings and helps clients with NOL utilization, nexus determinations, unitary analysis, credits and incentives, and controversies. He also presents for various professional organizations, including the Tax Executives Institute, and publishes articles for BNA Multistate Tax Report and State Tax Notes.
