Mattia Borsalino

Mattia Borsalino began their career in 2005 as a Yield Engineer at Matrix Semiconductor, Inc. In 2006, they moved to SanDisk Corp. as a Product Engineer. In 2011, they joined MoSys, Inc. as a Software Lead/Manager. During their time at MoSys, they recruited and built a software team from the ground up. Mattia also led the team to develop new features on customer applications and tools used internally for silicon bring-up and testing. Additionally, they managed the development of production firmware for new chips. Mattia then served as a Staff Software Engineer and a Senior Software Engineer, where they were responsible for maintenance and enhancement of proprietary device testing software, development and testing of production firmware, development of lab-equipment automation, enhancement of Python model of memory-BIST digital circuit behavior, wrapping of third-party C libraries using Python API to create Python extended libraries, and implementation of Makefiles to automate build and install process.

Mattia Borsalino obtained a Master's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Politecnico di Milano between 1997 and 2005.
