Clara Jeffery is currently the Editor-in-Chief at Mother Jones, leading the political investigative magazine and its website. Prior to this role, Clara served as Deputy Editor at Harper's Magazine from 1996 to 2002 and as a Senior Editor at Washington City Paper from 1993 to 1996. Clara also has experience as a Reporter/Editor at Chicago Reporter from 1993 to 1994. Clara holds a Master of Science in Journalism from Northwestern University and a Bachelor of Arts from Carleton College. Clara completed their high school education at Sidwell Friends.
