Ali Taherifar is an accomplished Senior Mechatronics Engineer at Weir Motion Metrics with extensive experience in robotics and control systems. Previously, Ali held the position of Lead Control System Engineer at Human in Motion Robotics Inc., where significant advancements in self-balanced exoskeleton prototypes were achieved. As a Postdoctoral Fellow at Simon Fraser University, Ali collaborated closely with Human in Motion Inc., contributing to innovative research. Earlier roles included Control System Engineer at the Center of Excellence in Design, Robotics, and Automation (CEDRA), and Robotics Engineer at CAST and Mobin Tarh, emphasizing expertise in design, simulation, and project management across various robotics applications. Ali earned a PhD and a Master's degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering from Sharif University of Technology, following a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from K. N. Toosi University of Technology.
