Jason Harrison is a highly experienced Senior Software Engineer specializing in MLOps at Weir Motion Metrics since July 2020, where significant improvements in processing speed were achieved through service enhancements and translation of services from C++ to Python. Jason held the position of VP Engineering at EIO Diagnostics, leading the development of the FirstLook Mastitis system for early detection of dairy cow infections, and has a strong background with roles at Intel Corporation and Recon Instruments, focusing on augmented reality and wearable technologies. Prior to these roles, Jason contributed to software development at various companies, including PDFTron Systems and Dolby Laboratories, demonstrating expertise in image processing, algorithm design, and team leadership. Jason earned a PhD and MSc in Computer Science from The University of British Columbia and a BE in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from Stony Brook University.
