Melvie Tarr is an accomplished software developer and robotics engineer with extensive experience in creating high-performance software solutions and designing innovative products. Currently employed at Motion Metrics since July 2018, Melvie has contributed to software feature implementation, debugging, and the development of unit and integration tests, while following SOLID design principles. Previous experience at Dynamic Attractions involved developing collision avoidance software and enhancing ride profile development tools. Additionally, Melvie has hands-on experience with hardware integration, algorithm design, and data analysis using various programming languages including C++, Python, and MATLAB. With a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Dalhousie University, Melvie has also held positions in mechanical engineering and assembly, showcasing a diverse skill set in both software and hardware domains.
