Makungu Mbi is an accomplished engineering professional with significant experience in software development, integration, and release management. Currently serving as the Lead Build and Release Engineer at Amazon since June 2020, Mbi has led key projects including the externalization of the Kepler SDK and the CI/CD processes for SDK and simulator components. Previously at Lab126, Mbi managed a team of engineers focused on the development of Fire TV software and led the integration of various software components. Additionally, Mbi held various leadership roles at Motorola and Intel Corporation, driving initiatives in software integration and configuration management for products like Android LTE Smartphones and Amazon co-engineering projects. Mbi holds a PhD in Computer Science from Université de Sherbrooke.
