Richard Rushing

Richard Rushing is an experienced information security professional with a robust background spanning over two decades in various leadership roles. As Chief Information Security Officer at Motorola Mobility since November 2009, Richard has spearheaded security initiatives. Previously, Richard served as Chief Security Officer at Motorola AirDefense and co-founded AirDefense Inc., where Richard held dual roles as Co-Founder and Chief Security Officer and VP of Technical Services. Richard's earlier experience includes the role of CTO Network Services at VeriSign, where Richard contributed to the solutions portfolio, and co-founding SecureIT, a pioneering security services company acquired during the Dot Com era. Richard has also held positions at GE Capital and Siemens Energy & Automation, focusing on security services and network management. Richard holds educational credentials from Arizona State University.
