Paul Heydenrych has a diverse work experience in the engineering and project management field. Paul started their career at O'Brien-Kreitzberg & Associates, where they worked as a Senior Vice President from 1991 to 1997. Paul then joined Carter & Burgess as an Associate, where they managed civil and systems contract management teams for the Trax Light Rail Project in Salt Lake City. In 1991, Paul joined URS Corporation as a Senior Vice President and became one of the national transit business line leads. In 2006, they moved to Hatch Mott MacDonald as a Vice President, where they managed the Portland office and had regional business development responsibilities. Most recently, Paul worked at Mott MacDonald as a Principal Project Manager until their retirement in 2019.

Paul Heydenrych completed a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Pretoria from 1970 to 1973. In 1978, they attained a Business Management Certificate from Damelin. Paul is also registered as a Professional Engineer in Oregon, Washington, Alberta, and South Africa.
