Mayela S. has a strong background in finance and accounting, with over a decade of experience in various roles. Mayela started their career as an Accounting Intern at Helen of Troy in May 2008 and then worked as a Latin America Staff Accountant and General Accounting Senior Accountant before becoming a Budget & Reporting Supervisor in June 2013. In 2015, they joined Mount Franklin Foods as an FP&A & Special Projects Manager, and over the years, they progressed to roles such as Director of Accounting and Finance, VP Finance, and SVP Finance and Accounting. Currently, they hold the position of Chief Financial Officer at Mount Franklin Foods, starting in March 2022.
Mayela S. completed their Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree in Accounting from The University of Texas at El Paso in the years 2005 to 2009. Mayela then pursued further education at Harvard Business School Executive Education and obtained a Strategic CFO certification, which they completed in 2021.
