Brett Morey

Chief Geologist at Mount Gibson Iron

Brett Morey has a significant amount of work experience in the mining industry. Brett is currently working as the Chief Geologist at Mount Gibson Iron, a position they have held since June 2020. Prior to this, Brett worked for eight years at Mt Gibson Iron, where they served as the Technical Services Manager from February 2012 to June 2020. Before that, they worked as the Geology Manager at Polaris Metals from February 2009 to December 2011. Brett also served as the Exploration and Operations Manager at Sundance Resources LTD from January 2008 to January 2009. Their earliest work experience was at Rio Tinto, where they held two positions: Principal Operations Readiness from September 2006 to January 2008, and Superintendent Geological Support from January 2005 to September 2006.

Brett Morey completed their Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Geology/Earth Science, General from Curtin University. Brett studied there from 1990 to 1994.
