Kate Sherrard Chinn

Kate Sherrard Chinn currently serves as a Partner at MP&F Strategic Communications, a position held since August 2022, where efforts focus on establishing the agency as a wholly women-owned entity specializing in public relations and marketing. Prior to this role, Kate was the VP/Head of Community and Civic Engagement at AllianceBernstein from September 2018 to June 2022, overseeing global corporate philanthropy and community engagement initiatives during the company's relocation to Nashville. Additionally, experience includes serving as SVP of Growth and Vice President of Investor Relations at the Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce, and as Senior Director of Marketing at Tishman Speyer, managing brand and marketing strategies for iconic properties. Early career roles included an Interior Designer/Project Manager at Peter Marino Architect and a Marketing Coordinator at Rodale Inc. Kate holds a B.A. in English from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Certificate in Executive Leadership from Vanderbilt University Executive Education.
