A member of the Executive Council at Mphasis, Elango R heads sales and delivery of all business lines in Hewlett Packard (HP) channel.
He is responsible for market-facing activities as well as delivery across the DXC and HP Channel, focusing on enabling customers to build strong business processes and enhancing the end-customer experience through digital transformation. Elango partners with business leaders in their transformation journey by strengthening business relationships and through his expertise in the space of technology and operations.
Previously, Elango was the Chief Human Resources Officer at Mphasis and defined the organization’s talent strategies and programs. He led a global team of human resource professionals responsible for attracting, developing, and retaining the best talent through world-class recruiting, learning and development, compensation and benefits, engagement, and retention practices.
As an additional portfolio, he also managed the Emerging Geographies Business Unit at Mphasis. Being a versatile leader, he has donned multiple hats in the past as the Head of Business Operations, Corporate Social Responsibility, Marketing, and Corporate Communications.
Before Mphasis, Elango served as Senior Vice President, Human Resources, for the offshore unit at Bank of America and has worked in senior positions at organizations like the UB Group, the Raheja Group, and Quality Inns (India) in the past.
Author of the best seller 'You Don't Need a Godfather', he is a well-known name in the speaking circuit, and he has participated in forums like Project Management Institute (PMI), National HRD Network (NHRD), and NASSCOM.
