Ariel Shpigel has a diverse range of work experience. Ariel started their career as a General Production Intern at NBCUniversal, Inc. in 2013. Ariel later interned at the Peggy Guggenheim Collection and the Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts in 2014 and 2016, respectively. In 2017, Ariel worked as a Summer Associate at Jenner & Block. Ariel continued their legal career at Harvard Law School, where they served as a Research Assistant and Student Practitioner from 2015 to 2018. Ariel then worked as an Attorney at Jenner & Block from 2018 to 2020. Ariel subsequently joined Sheppard Mullin Richter & Hampton LLP as an Entertainment, Technology, and Advertising Attorney from 2020 to 2021. In 2022, Ariel joined Matt Tolmach Productions, where they held various roles in the Office of the Founder, President of Production, and VP of Production and Development. Currently, Ariel is working at MRC in the Office of the Co-President and the SVP, Film.

Ariel Shpigel pursued a Doctor of Law (JD) degree at Harvard Law School from 2015 until 2018. Prior to that, from 2010 to 2014, Ariel attended Duke University where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree. Their major was in Environmental Science and Policy, and they also pursued minors in Visual and Media Studies, as well as Economics. Ariel had earlier educational experience at The New School from 2007 to 2010, specifically at the Mannes School of Music Preparatory Division where they studied Voice. In December 2018, Ariel obtained membership in the State Bar of California.
