Gabriel Lugo is a Mechanical Design Engineer with extensive experience in engineering and design across multiple industries. At MRI, Gabriel has been focused on designing components for the Exploration Extravehicular Mobility Unit spacesuits, utilizing PRO-e for modeling and drawings. Prior to this role, Gabriel worked at Weatherford as a Design Engineer, where responsibilities included designing hydraulic lift components, conducting material research with vendors, and executing R&D experiments. Earlier experience includes positions as an Applications Engineer at Flowserve, where Gabriel specialized in pump design, and an intern at Igloo Products Corp., where product testing and CAD modeling were key tasks. Gabriel holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Houston, completed in 2011.
