Michael Andrews is an experienced engineering professional with a background in electrical engineering, holding a Bachelor of Science degree from Lamar University. Currently serving as an EVA Battery Project Engineer at MRI, Michael supports the sustaining of EVA batteries and on-orbit battery operations at NASA Johnson Space Center. Previous roles include working as a Hyperloop Engineering Specialist at Hyperloop Transportation Technologies, where advisory on battery and power technologies was provided, and serving as an EMU Product Safety & Reliability Engineer at NASA, focusing on hazard reporting and failure modes assessment. With extensive experience in project engineering and management, testing, and safety analysis across multiple companies, including NASA and M & I Electric Industries, Michael has demonstrated expertise in managing complex projects, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and streamlining testing processes.
