Matei Stefanescu

Matei Stefanescu serves as the VP and Chief Architect at Optaros since March 2017, where leadership of the Technology Department and management of 5-8 direct reports overseeing over 80 FTEs and contractors is a primary responsibility. With substantial experience in engineering management at Adobe, Matei has worked with big data technologies and previously held multiple roles at Optaros, including Director of Technology, Director of Technical Architect, and Technical Lead, contributing to significant projects such as a major European E-commerce Platform. Earlier career highlights include a partnership at Onlinedev, managing web development teams, and technical leadership roles at Casa Stil Vechi, Infoland, and Mecano. Matei holds a Certified Project Manager degree from Codecs & Open University and a Bachelor's degree from the University of Bucharest.
