Juan Manuel Ortiz has a diverse work experience in the field of occupational safety and environment. Juan Manuel began their career as a Supervisor of Industrial Safety at SEINA from February 2001 to April 2004. Juan Manuel then worked as a Supervisor of Industrial Safety at Baterias de El Salvador from April 2004 to March 2006. Juan Manuel then joined Kimberly-Clark as a Superintendente Control de Perdidas from February 2006 to April 2008. Currently, they are associated with Aeroman, where they have held various roles including Especialista de SHE from April 2008 to January 2020, Occupational Safety and Environment Senior Specialist from January 2020 to December 2020, and now serves as the Occupational Safety and Environment Chief from December 2020 till present.

Juan Manuel Ortiz attended the Universidad Tecnológica de El Salvador from 1997 to 2002, where they earned a degree in Industrial Engineering. In 2007 to 2008, they completed a Diploma in Industrial Security and Occupational Health at the Universidad Dr. José Matías Delgado. Later in 2010, they pursued a Course in Integral Security at the Fundacion MAPFRE Madrid España.
