Lucas Simpson

Lucas Simpson possesses extensive experience in supply chain management and strategic sourcing, currently serving as a Global Category Manager at MSA - The Safety Company since January 2018. Lucas has held various positions at MSA, including Strategic Sourcing Specialist and NNA Buyer II, where responsibilities included managing over 30 suppliers to procure necessary materials and services for production processes. Additionally, Lucas has served in the U.S. Navy Reserves from July 2011 to July 2024, where roles included ABF2 Maintenance/Supply Supervisor, overseeing supply inventory and logistics for over 150 personnel, and JP-5 Console Operator, training staff in aviation fuel operations without incident over 10,000 evolutions. Prior experiences include a Supply Chain Internship at Covestro and a role as a Food Attendant at Giant Eagle. Lucas holds a degree in Supply Chain Management from Duquesne University, completed in 2019.
