Simone Fortin is a cybersecurity expert with extensive experience in various leadership roles. Currently serving as the Chief Information Security Officer and Global Head of Cyber Security at MSC Cruises since July 2018, Simone previously co-founded Horizon Security S.r.l. and held the position of Cyber Security Consulting Director from May 2012 to June 2018. Additional experience includes serving as a Senior Manager at PwC, managing cyber security and infrastructure for financial and telecommunications sectors, and managerial roles at Accenture Italia. Earlier career highlights include security consulting positions at Emaze and IKS. Simone is pursuing an Advanced Master in Privacy, Cybersecurity, and Data Management at Maastricht University and has earned an Executive-in-Residence Fellowship in Global Cyber Security Policy from the Geneva Centre for Security Policy, along with two MBAs from Hult International Business School.
