Darryl Kara has extensive experience in IT service management and product ownership, currently serving as the Technical Product Owner for the IT Operations and Security Centre at the Ministry of Social Development since January 2006. This role was integral during the COVID pandemic, ensuring compliance with technology requirements and enhancing monitoring and incident management through improved business processes and communication. Prior positions include various management roles at Fujitsu from January 1999 to December 2005, where responsibilities included Client Service Delivery Manager and Service Desk Team Leader. Earlier career experience includes a Service Desk Team Leader at Computerland New Zealand and a Customer Support Administrator at the Department of Internal Affairs (NZ).
