Louise Beaumont is an experienced communications professional with a strong background in public sector communications and engagement. Currently serving as General Manager Communications and Engagement at the Ministry of Social Development since March 2015, Louise has held several key roles, including Communications Director for Work and Income, Senior Services, and StudyLink. Prior experience includes Communications Manager for Work and Income and involvement in welfare reform projects at the Ministry of Social Development from 2012 to 2015. Additional roles encompass leading engagement on the Green Paper for Vulnerable Children on a contract basis, serving as Communications & Marketing Director at Housing New Zealand Corporation, Head of Marketing & Communications at ACC, and Marketing and Communications Manager at Public Trust. Louise began their career at Westpac, where Louise held various managerial roles from 1989 to 2002.
