Dimitri Gitas has a extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Dimitri currently serves as the Managing Director at MSD Switzerland since February 2023. Prior to this, they held the same position at MSD Polska Sp. z o.o. - Inventing For Life from February 2021 to February 2023. Before joining MSD, Dimitri worked at Merck for several years, starting as a Sales Representative in July 2004 and progressing to roles such as Market Research Specialist, Manager of Market Research & Analytics, and Product Manager for Hepatitis C. Dimitri also served as the Global Marketing Director and, most recently, as the Business Unit Director for Specialty & Hospital Care.
Dimitri Gitas pursued their undergraduate education from 1998 to 2002 at the University of Ottawa. Dimitri obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry during this period.
