Lars Andresen has a strong background in finance and leadership roles. Lars started their career at Merck as a Sr. Financial Analyst from 2003-2005. Lars then joined MSD Sharp & Dohme GmbH, where they held various roles such as Manager Legal Entity Planning, Sr. Manager Financial Planning, Director Financial Planning & Analysis, and Director Tax & Treasury from 2005-2017. Lars moved to MSD in 2017 and worked as the CFO of MSD AG Switzerland until 2022. Lars then took on the role of Finance Lead for the Central Eastern Europe Cluster until August 2023. Currently, Lars works as the CFO of MSD AG Switzerland since September 2023.
Lars Andresen pursued their education with a strong focus on business and finance. From 1996 to 2001, they attended the University of Hamburg, where they earned a degree in Betriebswirtschaft (Marketing, Psychology, Industrial Management). Later on, from 2001 to 2003, Lars pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a specialization in Finance and E-Commerce at Loyola University Chicago.
