Dina Abbas

Dina Abbas is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in public health and humanitarian settings. Currently serving as the Head of Innovation Evidence and Research at MSI Reproductive Choices since February 2023, Dina has a robust background as an Independent Consultant since 2008, working with diverse organizations including the International Rescue Committee, Population Services International, and Columbia University's Mailman School of Public Health. Prior roles include Director of the Evaluation Unit at NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene, where evaluation of the COVID-19 response was spearheaded, and Global Health and Nutrition Advisor at Alight, focusing on health system strengthening and patient-centered care. With a strong educational foundation including a Master of Public Health from Columbia University and a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations from Knox College, Dina has contributed significantly to health innovations, proposal development, and research in various international contexts.
