Mapula Bodibe CM (SA) has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Mapula Bodibe currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer at MTN Rwanda since 2022. Previously, they held the position of Chief Consumer Officer at MTN South Africa, where they were responsible for the Consumer Business Unit and overall marketing strategy. Prior to that, they served as the Chief Marketing Officer at MTN Uganda. Mapula Bodibe also has extensive experience at MTN South Africa, starting as a Segment Manager and progressing to the role of General Manager Consumer Marketing. Earlier in their career, they worked as an Assistant Brand Manager at Yum! Restaurants International and as a Customer Marketing Representative at Unilever.

Mapula Bodibe CM (SA) has a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree in Economics from the University of South Africa/Universiteit van Suid-Afrika, which they obtained from 1996 to 1999. Mapula Bodibe later pursued a Postgraduate diploma in Marketing from the same university, completing it from 2005 to 2006. To further enhance their knowledge and expertise in the field of business management, they acquired a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management from the University of South Africa/Universiteit van Suid-Afrika, completing it between 2009 and 2011.
