Martin Francis

Martin Francis is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in managing financial institutions and sovereign risk across the Asia-Pacific region. Currently serving as Director and Head of Financial Institutions and Sovereign Risk for APAC ex Mainland China at MUFG since August 2023, Martin previously held the same title for Asia and Oceania at MUFG from June 2016 to August 2022. Prior to this, Martin was employed at Bank of America from September 2007 to June 2016, where roles included Vice President of Financial Institutions Credit Risk and various other positions focused on credit risk management and equity research. Martin holds a Master of Science (MSc) in Accounting and Finance from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), completed in 2006.
