Michael Logue

Michael Logue is an accomplished compliance manager with extensive experience in risk management and compliance functions across various financial institutions. Currently serving as a Compliance Manager in the Global Financial Crimes Division at MUFG since December 2022, Michael is responsible for policy governance and implementation. Previously, at Union Bank from 2008 to December 2022, Michael held several senior roles including Director of the Portfolio Management Group and Deputy Head of Credit in Global Capital Markets, where responsibilities included credit risk management and underwriting strategies. Earlier career experiences include significant roles at Credit Suisse Securities (Japan) Limited and Westpac Institutional Bank, focusing on business management and credit research. Michael holds a Bachelor of Social Science in Development Economics and International Relations from the University of Tsukuba, along with advanced qualifications in Japanese language and studies.
