And we have fun doing it.   A DAY IN THE LIFE As a Front-End Team Member, you’ll be the first and last impression for our Garden + Home customers, keeping the focus on our vision to be the most loved plant shop in the country.

Core accountabilities include:   1.       Champion Customer Service o    Encourage customers to enroll in our loyalty program o    Handle merchandise returns and exchanges with great attention to detail o    Create a welcoming environment by greeting customers, offering assistance as needed, and answering questions o    Advocate for our Community Round-Up Partner to customers during the check-out process 2.       Maintain an Efficient and Clean Front-End o    Complete daily opening, closing, and side work checklists o    Take initiative when it comes to organizing, cleaning, and stocking register stations o    Communicate supply and equipment needs to Team Leaders 3.       Follow Schedules, Processes, and Timelines o    Champion merchandise accuracy by ensuring pricing is correct and following our “move it, scan it, place it” method when ringing up customers at the register o    Consistently refer to your schedule and departmental weekly updates o    Make punctuality and communication with your peers and leaders a priority o    Own the opening and closing cash drawer process   WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR ·         Experience working in retail a plus but not required ·         A reliable people person with a passion for plants ·         A communicative team player willing to jump in and assist with a variety of tasks as needed ·         The ability to maintain a positive attitude under pressure   WHAT WE OFFER ·         An inclusive, passionate, and fun work environment ·         The opportunity to grow a career in concert with the natural world ·         Great potential for personal and professional growth ·         A discount on all the plants and plant things you love
