Irma Pienaar currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer at Mulilo Energy, overseeing various operational domains including people and organization, IT and systems, office administration, and maintenance. With extensive experience at Scatec ASA from May 2013 to September 2023, Irma held several senior vice president roles, including Project Controls, Solutions & Program Director, People & Organisation, and Supply Chain. Responsibilities encompassed global project planning, development of leadership frameworks, and supply chain strategy across multiple technologies. Irma began their career at Mott MacDonald, progressing from Project Support Coordinator to Supply Chain and Procurement Manager. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Quantity Surveying from the University of the Free State and an H.Diac in Practical Theology from Unisa.

Since its establishment in 2008, Mulilo has grown into one of the leading Independent Power Producers (IPP) in Southern Africa.
