Jan Wegenaar earned a degree in Chemical Engineering from Hanzehogeschool Groningen / Hanze University of Applied Sciences Groningen in 1992. Afterwards, they pursued further education at the University of Groningen, where they received an Ir degree in Chemical Engineering from 1992 to 1995. In 2010, they attended INSEAD for Finance For Executives. Additionally, Jan participated in programs at IMD in 2012 and 2015, focusing on Leading with impact and Leading The Global Supply Chain, respectively.
