John J. Hughes is an experienced professional in the fields of leadership and emotional intelligence, currently serving as an Adjunct Instructor at the University of New England and a Senior Lecturer at Texas A&M University. As the Founder and President of E.I. Assessments, LLC, John has been dedicated to advancing emotional intelligence training, delivering over 1,500 EQ-i Reports and certifying coaches and HR professionals. With a background that includes a role as a Senior Internal Consultant at The New York Times and a Training & Development Specialist at IBM, John's expertise encompasses professional development and executive coaching. John holds a Master’s degree in Counseling and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, both from Iona University.
