Jens Fredrik Løchen has a strong background in civil engineering and bridge design. Jens Fredrik began their career in 2012 at Multiconsult, where they worked as a civil engineer and gained experience in contract management, on-site engineering, 3D modeling, and project management. During their time at Multiconsult, they also served as a design manager and lead of the structural discipline on various projects. In 2020, Løchen joined COWI as a senior bridge engineer before returning to Multiconsult in 2021. Jens Fredrik currently holds the position of Head of Section for both Road Design and Civil Engineering and Bridges and Structural Design.
Jens Fredrik Løchen earned a Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering from Østfold University College (HiØ) between 2010 and 2013. Jens Fredrik also obtained additional certifications, including (U3) Execution of concrete for supervisors and (U4) Execution of prestressed concrete for supervisors from Tekna in 2017. In 2015, they completed the certification for Prosessleder anslagsmetoden from Statens vegvesen – Norwegian Public Roads Administration. Additionally, in 2010, they received the Formwork Carpenter certification from Østfold fylkeskommune.
