Sylvia Service

Sylvia Service is an experienced finance professional currently serving as the Head of Finance Life and Group at Munich Re since January 2009, overseeing finance and operational teams for Life and Holding entities in Australia and New Zealand. Prior roles at Munich Re include Financial Controller for Group & Life and Finance Project Manager for IFRS 17, where leadership was demonstrated in finance divisions and significant projects. Prior to Munich Re, Sylvia held finance positions at Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance Group and Allianz Australia Limited, focusing on financial planning and accounting. Sylvia earned a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and Finance from UNSW between 2001 and 2004.
