Jamie Steele has a diverse work experience spanning from 2012 to the present. They have worked in various roles in different companies. Jamie started as a No.2 Mechanic at IndiGO Motorsport in 2012 and later became a No.1 Mechanic/Race Engineer at Burnett Motorsport. In 2013, Jamie joined Mitsubishi Electric Air Conditioning Systems Europe Ltd as a Graduate Design Engineer. They then worked as a KTP Associate - Engineering Design at JAMES A. CUTHBERTSON, LIMITED and the University of Strathclyde. Jamie continued their career as a Mechanical Design Engineer at James A. Cuthbertson Ltd and PeddleSmart. They also had a self-employed role as a Mechanical Design Engineer at JMech, where they were also the Lead Engineer for MotiveXQ Ltd. Currently, Jamie works as a Design Engineer at Munro Vehicles, starting from 2023.
Jamie Steele attended Rothesay Academy from 2003 to 2009, where they obtained 5 Highers in subjects including Maths, English, Physics, French, and Art. Following this, Jamie studied at the University of the West of Scotland from 2009 to 2013, earning a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (BEng, Hons), specializing in Motorsport Design Engineering.
