Joanna Cobb

Joanna Cobb is a seasoned researcher with extensive experience in genetics and clinical research coordination. Currently serving as a Senior Project Coordinator at Murdoch Childrens Research Institute since June 2017, Joanna coordinates significant research programs that enhance collaboration across major institutions to promote the translation of clinical research into practice. Previously, as a Senior Research Officer, Joanna contributed to a national cohort study, managing patient recruitment and overseeing biospecimen collection efforts. Joanna has a solid academic foundation, highlighted by a PhD in Complex Disease Genetics from the University of Melbourne, and has worked at leading institutions such as The University of Manchester and the University of Melbourne, focusing on genetic research in juvenile idiopathic arthritis and male pattern baldness.
