Monica Wingard, RN, MSN, NE-BC, currently serves as the Director of Surgical Services and Perioperative Clinical Coordinator at MUSC Health Columbia Medical Center, where responsibilities include managing the Pre-admission Testing Department, outpatient surgery, the general surgery holding room, and the Post Anesthesia Care Unit since June 2015. Prior experience includes serving as Senior Charge Nurse at Sisters of Charity Providence Hospitals, where Monica transitioned the intermediate coronary care unit into an observation unit, and previously worked as an RN Unit Educator and Staff Registered Nurse in the same unit. Monica holds a Master of Science in Nursing Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Registered Nursing from the University of South Carolina.
