Megan Smith

Megan Smith currently serves as Managing Editor and Senior Editor at the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, where responsibilities include project management of the publications department, collaborating with major publishers, and overseeing the production of exhibition catalogues and various museum materials. Additionally, Megan co-founded Spectrum South, an online magazine focused on LGBTQ identity in the South, where roles include managing an editorial team and developing content strategies. Prior experience includes positions as Assistant Editor and Web Editor at OutSmart Media Company, Copy/Research Director at ORANGE Magazine, and Staff Writer at The Daily Texan. Megan holds a Master of Arts in Mass Communications from the University of Houston and a Bachelor of Journalism from The University of Texas at Austin.
