Chantal Balesdent

Chantal Balesdent serves as the Director of Operations Strategy & Program Management at the Museum of Science since June 2023, following a managerial role at Youth Engineering Solutions from August 2019 to June 2023. Previously, Chantal held multiple positions in the Engineering is Elementary program at the Museum of Science from September 2013 to July 2019, including Professional Development Manager, where responsibilities involved developing and facilitating workshops to enhance educators’ capabilities in teaching engineering to elementary students. Chantal's academic background includes a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) and Master of Science (M.S.) in Chemistry from the University of Oregon, alongside a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Chemistry from Colby College. Additionally, experience includes serving as a graduate research and teaching assistant at the University of Oregon and an internship at Iris Vineyards.
