Museum of the American Revolution
Matthew Skic is an accomplished curator with extensive experience in museum exhibitions and American history. As the Curator of Exhibitions at the Museum of the American Revolution since June 2016, Matthew has led significant projects such as the special exhibition "Cost of Revolution: The Life and Death of an Irish Soldier" and co-curated "Hamilton Was Here: Rising Up in Revolutionary Philadelphia." Prior roles include serving as the Lois F. McNeil Fellow at Winterthur Museum, where Matthew studied early American craftsmanship, and various internships focusing on curatorial work at prominent institutions like the National Museum of American History and the Museum of the American Revolution. Matthew holds a Master of Arts in American Material Culture from the University of Delaware and a Bachelor of Arts in History from American University.
