Jak Wong has over 10 years of work experience in various human resources and leadership roles. Currently, Jak is the Director of People and Culture at Mustang Survival, where they have been since May 2022. Prior to this, Jak spent three years as the Manager of People & Culture at Mustang Survival. Before joining Mustang Survival, Jak owned their own business, TPG Food Inc., for three years. Jak also has experience as a Human Resources Business Partner at Arc'teryx Equipment for three years and as a Human Resources Assistant at Arc'teryx Equipment Inc. for two years. Their early career included a role as a Banking Consultant at Manulife Bank for two years. Overall, Jak's experience has focused on human resources and people management, with a particular emphasis on the outdoor industry.

Jak Wong completed a Certificate in Human Resources Management from Simon Fraser University from 2017 to 2019. Prior to that, Jak attended the Applied Multimedia Training Centres for Dynamic web and graphic design, and also studied Commerce at the University of Calgary. Jak has also obtained additional certification as a Certified Human Resources Professional from CPHR BC & Yukon in July 2023.
