Dr. Prasanthkumar Nellickal has over 10 years of experience in various roles related to social development and project management. Dr. Prasanthkumar started their career at Grama Vikas Kendra, where they served as a Course Coordinator and Youth Coordinator, providing training on counseling and conflict resolution. Dr. Prasanthkumar later worked as a Project Officer and Counseling Coordinator at a De-Addiction Centre supported by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. Dr. Nellickal then joined the Targeted Intervention Project of the Kerala State AIDS Control Society as a Project Manager, focusing on HIV prevention among high-risk behavior populations. Dr. Prasanthkumar also served as Project Manager at the Indian Network for People Living with HIV/AIDS, where they managed various initiatives related to HIV service delivery and advocacy. Additionally, they worked as a Senior Manager at Great India Tourism Planners and Consultants Intl., overseeing the implementation of responsible tourism initiatives in Kerala. Dr. Nellickal also contributed as a Catalyst at the International Institute for Social Entrepreneurs, facilitating participants in setting up social projects globally. Currently, they hold the position of Head of Corporate Social Responsibility at the Muthoot Pappachan Group, a diversified conglomerate involved in various sectors such as financial services, hospitality, real estate, healthcare, and IT services.

During this time, they also pursued a post-graduate diploma in Psychological Counselling from the School of Behavioral Sciences (MG University Campus) in 1999-2000.
In 2002, Dr. Nellickal embarked on their doctoral journey and obtained a Ph.D. in Social Work from Mahatma Gandhi University in 2011. Building on their academic achievements, they then completed an Advanced Post Graduate Certificate Course in Corporate Social Responsibility (APGCC) at the Institute of Corporate Sustainability Management (ICSM) in 2013.
To further supplement their education, Dr. Nellickal has obtained several additional certifications. In 2005, they received training in Project Planning, Micro Budgeting, and Grants Management from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. In 2006, they obtained certification in Grants Management, Monitoring, Evaluation, and Reporting from USAID. Dr. Prasanthkumar'sprofessional development continued in 2015 with the acquisition of a Sustainability Reporting - GRI G4 Certification from the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI).
