Karl Schmidt began their work experience in 1994 as a Staff Sergeant in the US Army, where they served until 2006. Karl then worked as an Audit In-Charge at Plante & Moran from 2006 to 2010. Following that, they were a Senior Accountant at Elyria Foundry from 2010 to 2011. In 2011, they joined Chart Industries, Inc., starting as a Director of Internal Audit and later progressing to various Vice President roles, including Vice President of Finance and Vice President of Aquisition Integration. In 2020, they joined MVE Biological Solutions as Vice President Finance and is currently serving as the Chief Financial Officer.
Karl Schmidt has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management, General from The University of Akron. Karl also has a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from the same institution. Additionally, they hold a certification as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
